Schedule:

Maternity Leave Contract.
Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Wednesday:11:00am - 7:00pm.
Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $31-$36/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Please note that this is a replacement job opening.

Your Role:

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
Support the orthodontic program (training provided).
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
Assist with ordering and inventory control as needed.

About You:

Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
NDAEB certification is required.
Experience with Abeldent is preferred.
Bilingual English and French is preferred.
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
